Summer ready? Well, you certainly will be with these swimmers in tow.
Forget the trad triangle two-piece – this year it’s time to rock the ‘V-bar’ bikini.
Models Gizele Oliveira and Shannon Lawson were early adopters of the trend – and now fashion bloggers are raving about it too.
The first label to incorporate the inverted V design was Australian label Bamba with their Vino Top priced at AUD$79 (£43).
You may do a double-take at first (that inverted V underwire looks weird), but stick with it – there’s a reason Instagram is all over this fashionable design.
British brands have also adopted the trend with Missguided now selling their own variation of the must-have design.
Celebrity stylist Rochelle White predicts the V-bar design will be the next big thing on the beach.
She told FEMAIL: “Not only does it create a flattering shape to the bust area, but it also adds a nice amount of cleavage, without looking too in-your-face.”
Seriously though, the V-bar design is the best bust-booster we’ve seen in ages.
We’re seriously loving Bamba’s colourways, especially the cherry red and stone grey which we’re imagining would look lush with a tan.
Missguided also had a black V-bar bikini for £25, but it’s currently sold out online.
Summer’s most important sartorial item? A V-bar bikini. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
